Job Description

Lead our entire Sportsbook vertical — odds, trading, product and frontend — as our new Director/Head of Sportsbook.

We're a well-backed iGaming scale-up on a mission to build the most operationally excellent and player-first business in the regulated space. With strong investor support and a clear path to multiple regulated markets, we are building our product and technology, with Sportsbook as a core pillar of our offering. Our company is live and profitable, and we are now entering the next phase of regulated investments and growth.

As our Director / Head of Sportsbook, you'll be the driving force behind our entire sportsbook vertical — from odds and trading to product and frontend capabilities. You'll set the vision for what a best-in-class sportsbook looks like, and you'll be hands-on to build it between our tech and Sportsbook platform provider.

This is a role for someone who has led a Sportsbook business before, preferably in the Nordics, and who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and handling deep daily operations. You'll report directly to the CEO and sit on the leadership team.

● 5-10 years of experience leading a Sportsbook vertical in one or more of the Nordic markets
●Proven track record of building or significantly elevating a sportsbook product and frontend to best-in-class standard
● Strong commercial understanding of odds, trading, risk management, and margin optimization
● Experience owning and managing the relationship with a sportsbook platform provider, and driving the frontend product roadmap in partnership with them and in-house tech teams
● A genuine visionary who is also happy to be hands-on and operational
● Creative and willing to challenge the status quo, with strong opinions on what makes a sportsbook great
● Deep familiarity with the regulated Nordic gambling landscape: licensing, responsible gambling obligations, and market-specific nuances
● Excellent communicator: clear, direct, and effective with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
● A genuine passion for sports and betting product, with a sharp eye for what separates a good sportsbook from a great one.

1. Sportsbook Vision & Strategy — Define what best-in-class means for our Sportsbook (product, pricing, player experience) and build the roadmap to get there
2. Odds, Trading & Risk — Own our approach to odds compilation, pricing, trading strategy, and risk management
3. Product & Frontend — Take direct ownership of the Sportsbook frontend, features, UX and external providers
4. Platform Provider Relationship — Own and manage the relationship end to end, from commercial terms to daily trading oversight
5. Nordics Market Leadership — Bring deep, hands-on knowledge of Nordic markets, key events, staking behaviors and seasonality
6. Team Leadership — Build and lead a high-performing Sportsbook team (trading, product, content)
